Websites for electricians
Most electricians I talk to get plenty of work from referrals and do not think they need a website. Then a customer Googles them before calling and finds nothing, or finds a Facebook page from 2019. A one-page site fixes that for less than a service call.
What a site for electricians needs
Your licence number and insurance, on the first screen
This is what a homeowner is checking. Make it easy.
Service area, named
Towns and neighbourhoods you cover. This is also what Google uses to show you to the right people.
Residential, commercial or both, with examples
Panel upgrades, EV chargers, renovations, service calls. A short list with a sentence each.
Click-to-call on mobile
Most of your traffic is a phone. The number should be a button.
A few real job photos
A clean panel install says more than a paragraph.
Getting found on Google
"Electrician Penticton", "EV charger installation Kelowna", "emergency electrician Nanaimo". A Google Business Profile with reviews plus a site that names your services and towns is the whole game for a trade like this.
What it costs
Starter is $500 once and $100 a year: a hand-built one-page site at yourname.ourhub.ca with a contact form, hosting, SSL and two content updates a month. Complete is $1,000 and $240 a year and adds your own domain, custom email, an editor you can use yourself, and the Google setup. Three to five business days from your answers to a preview. Full details on the what's included page, and the comparison with doing it yourself in the cost guide.
